Why Dyad
Building the Intelligent Foundation for Insurance Distribution.
Dyad provides purpose-built software for insurance distribution — with embedded intelligence, powerful workflows, and a team that understands the work. It’s how agencies, wholesalers, MGAs, MGUs, and program administrators move faster, serve better, and grow smarter.
Because Insurance Deserves Better
For too long, insurance distribution ran on software that was adapted for it, not built for it. Platforms designed for generic workflows. Enterprise tools repurposed from other industries. Technology that technically worked but never quite fit.
In 2023, two companies who had each spent decades solving this problem from different angles merged to form Dyad. One built Nexsure for retail agencies. The other built ALIS for MGAs, wholesalers, and program administrators. The name reflects that union — and so does the mission: one partner with purpose-built expertise across every model of insurance distribution.
Insurance Distribution Is What We Do.
Not What We Adapted To.
Insurance distribution is a specific discipline. It has its own data structures, compliance requirements, workflow patterns, and relationship dynamics. Software that wasn’t designed for it will show the seams.
Dyad was formed from the merger of two companies, each purpose-built for their side of distribution: the team behind Nexsure, with deep expertise serving retail agencies, and the team behind ALIS, built for the complex workflows of MGAs, wholesalers, and program administrators. The name Dyad reflects that union, and so does what the combined platform can do.
Nexsure configures around your agency, not the other way around. ALIS DX supports the full spectrum of wholesale, MGA, and program administrator operations, while most platforms cover one or two models well and fall short on the rest.
Deep workflow intelligence.
Dyad’s platforms are built around the actual processes that drive insurance distribution: submissions, endorsements, renewals, carrier connectivity, and policy administration. These aren’t configured approximations of insurance processes. They are insurance processes.
Embedded intelligence, not add-on AI.
We don’t layer AI on top of existing systems. Intelligence is built directly into the platforms, applied where structured data and repeatable workflows create the highest-value opportunities — data extraction, intake automation, policy validation, and more.
An ecosystem, not a collection of tools.
Dyad’s products are designed to work together across the distribution chain, sharing data standards, connectivity infrastructure, and a common product philosophy — so your technology grows with your business instead of fragmenting as it scales.
Every Layer of Insurance Distribution. One Technology Partner.
Insurance distribution isn’t one model — it’s many. Retail agencies operate differently from MGAs. Program administrators have different needs than wholesalers. Most technology vendors pick a lane and stay in it.
Dyad serves all of them, with software purpose-built for the distinct workflows each model requires. Whether you’re running a single distribution operation or managing multiple models under one organization, Dyad is built to support how you work today and scale with where you’re going — without replatforming.

The Dyad Experience
The Dyad Experience is the standard we hold ourselves to across every touchpoint — not just in how the software performs, but in how we show up as a partner.
It means platforms that reflect how your business actually works, implementations that prioritize speed to value, and a support team with the domain knowledge to back it up. When a product carries the DX name, it’s built to that standard.
A Team Built for This Industry
Dyad’s people are insurance and technology professionals who have spent their careers inside this industry. They built our products, support our customers, and bring the domain knowledge that generic technology vendors can’t offer.
Our culture is built around five values that shape how we work with our customers and with each other.
